Nursing Facility Marketer
Major job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Screen potential patients for admission to facility while in hospital
- Gather and assess clinical data supporting admission into the facility
- Communicate with facility admissions department, hospital case management and social work staff throughout the admissions process
- Market the facilities services at health fairs, in physicians offices, and in the community
- Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with the referral staff at local hospitals and referring agencies
Qualifications:
- Having existing contacts in local Hospital/Healthcare Markets is a plus
- Public Relations / Sales experience preferred
- Have current understanding of long-term care / short term rehab
- Have excellent sales experience and marketing, communication, time management and organizational skills
- Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred
- One year in sales or marketing required, healthcare experience preferred
